Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Monroe, Michigan
Description temporary Accounts Receivable position. This position is expected to last three months working full time Monday-Friday in the Monroe, MI office and needs to be filled as soon as possible.
We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
Required Skills:
• Oracle experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft – Excel, Word
• Proficient Computer skills
• Proficient with Adobe
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Strong Research skills
• Critical and Analytical thinking
• Independent worker
• Able to manage projects
• Organized
Accounts Receivable Duties:
• Billing experience
o Create invoices, submit to customers, post transactions
• Cash Application experience
o Prepare, post, research customer payments
• Collections experience
o Identify delinquent invoices/accounts, correspond with customers
• Experience resolving invoice/payment discrepancies
o Research discrepancies, coordinate/communicate with other staff as necessary
• Experience with AR reconciliations
o Prepare data to communicate customer account balances; provide updates on past due accounts
• Understands Accounting concepts
o Knowledge of impact of transactions to AR ledgers
• Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications
