Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Data Analyst in the Financial Services industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for data analysis and reporting in a fast-paced workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and report findings to the appropriate department.

• Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data.

• Dissect and analyze unstructured text segments and translate them into actionable insights.

• Utilize various financial software to aid in data analysis and reporting.

• Maintain effective communication with various departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data analysis.

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of financial markets.

• Utilize data analysis skills to contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with a team to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Continuously seek ways to improve processes and workflows related to financial data analysis.

• Stay updated on industry trends and changes that may impact financial data analysis.

Requirements • Possess a university degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• No prior work experience required, making this an ideal role for recent graduates.

• Proficiency in data analysis and financial analysis is essential.

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with a focus on numeric data.

• Strong understanding of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.

• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.

• Well informed of all the latest financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.

• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics, and economics.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.

• Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach.

• Knowledge of financial software is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.

• Willingness to take on challenges and adapt to changing situations.

• High level of professionalism and integrity.
