Robert Half Receptionist / Administrative Assistant in Monroe, Ohio
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant in the manufacturing industry, located in Monroe, Ohio. The chosen candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, carrying out various administrative tasks and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the smooth running of the office by managing daily administrative tasks.
• Handle incoming calls and other communications from customers.
• Schedule appointments and manage the booking of conference rooms.
• Assist in the setup and cleanup of conference rooms.
• Ensure that office supplies are maintained, placing orders when necessary.
• Keep track of office equipment and inventory.
• Contribute to the onboarding process for new hires by preparing necessary materials.
• Participate in the organization and execution of employee engagement events.
• Maintain a professional and clean appearance of the reception area and boardroom.
• Handle email correspondence professionally and promptly.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for various administrative tasks such as data entry and creating presentations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong customer service skills and experience in handling inbound and outbound calls
• Experience in data entry and email correspondence
• Proven ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Familiarity with receptionist duties, such as greeting visitors and answering phone calls
• Ability to perform administrative tasks, such as filing, copying, and faxing documents
• Experience in setting up and cleaning up conference rooms for meetings
• Strong administrative skills, including organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to provide administrative assistance to other team members as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
