Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the manufacturing industry. The position is based in Montague, Michigan, 49437-9555, United States. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be responsible for a range of HR-related duties, including recruitment, onboarding, background checks, job postings, and additional administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct full cycle recruitment, including job postings and screening of candidates
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires
• Conduct background checks as part of the recruitment process
• Assist with the management of employee relations and compliance with labor laws
• Utilize Workday HRIS for various HR functions
• Address and resolve inquiries related to employee benefits
• Perform additional administrative tasks as required in support of the HR department. Requirements • Proficient in executing Benefit Functions
• Capable of ensuring Compliance within the HR department
• Experienced in managing Employee Relations
• Proficient in using Workday HRIS
• Possesses experience in Full Cycle Recruiting
• Skilled in conducting and managing Onboarding processes
• Experienced in Posting Jobs and managing recruitment platforms
• Knowledge of manufacturing industry and related HR practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
