We are seeking a temporary-to-permanent Billing Clerk to join our team in Montgomery, Illinois. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for managing billing transactions, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate records of all billing activities. This role provides a contract to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute all billing functions accurately and timely.

• Utilize various software systems for billing operations.

• Prepare and issue billing statements to customers.

• Resolve billing inquiries from customers and third parties.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer billing records.

• Use Microsoft Office Suites for documentation and communication.

• Monitor and manage electronic billing processes.

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with billing policies and procedures.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience in billing functions and working with billing software

• Ability to prepare and issue billing statements

• Knowledge of electronic billing systems and procedures

• Ability to resolve billing discrepancies and issues

• Experience in Third Party Billing

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work under tight deadlines

• High level of integrity and confidentiality regarding company billing information.
