Robert Half International Customer Service Representative in MOON TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania



Our client in the Moon area is looking for a Customer Service Representative. The role will sometimes include general office support functions as well. Daily responsibilities will include; answering customer questions, helping customers with order placement, fulfillment and following up with customer through completion/delivery. In this role, an SAP system is used (and the candidate will be trained), as well as Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and other common software. The ability to pick up new software with ease is needed for this role. The ideal candidate will be personable, well organized and flexible with helping in all areas of the office.

This is a long term temporary role, on a part-time basis. The client would like to train the right person, and have them work 1-2 days/week. The candidate will also do coverage for team members time off, so some weeks could be 40 hours. The client is flexible with what days are worked, except when coverage is needed.

  • Proven experience going the extra mile to solve complex customer inquiries via extensive research

  • Microsoft Office knowledge required

  • Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

  • Proven knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

  • Comfort and confidence when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Strong communication and social skills

  • Excellent customer service and office administrative skills

  • 2+ years' experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Enthusiastic attitude and an engaging businesslike approach

  • Microsoft Outlook experience

  • Adeptness in back office support

  • Microsoft Office Suites experience

  • Solid understanding of customer service

  • Order entry experience

  • General familiarity with Administrative Office

  • Strong familiarity with order entry

  • Demonstrated knowledge of navigating basic office equipment and protocols
