Description We are in search of a Software Developer to join our team in Moorestown, New Jersey. This role is integral to our technological advancement and will involve working closely with the Software Development Team. The individual will be tasked with various responsibilities, including using a range of programming languages, implementing code fixes and new functionalities, and working both independently and within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the software development team using a variety of programming languages such as C/C++, Java, XML, Javascript, and shell scripting.

• Utilize database concepts for Postgres/Oracle and GIS Tools, Red Hat Linux, Ada, Redmine, and Git.

• Conduct software installations and workstation backups to ensure data security.

• Analyze and implement code fixes, adaptation changes, and new functionalities to improve software performance.

• Conduct peer/code reviews to maintain high-quality software development.

• Communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical individuals.

• Take initiative in tasks and provide direction and training where necessary.

• Utilize Apache Struts, Backend Development, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, CSS skills for software development and problem-solving.

• Work both independently and in teams to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines. Requirements • Proficiency in Apache Struts, a framework for creating enterprise-ready Java web applications.

• Demonstrable experience in Backend Development including server-side logic and database management.

• Proficiency in C++, an object-oriented programming language used for system/application software, client-server applications, and embedded firmware.

• Expertise in Database design, usage, and management with an emphasis on querying, indexing, and optimization.

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems, understanding how to use electro-optical and infrared sensors and systems.

• Experience with AB Testing, understanding how to use data to drive improvements through iterative testing.

• Proficiency in Ajax, a set of web development techniques used to create asynchronous web applications.

• Experience in API Development, designing, building, and maintaining APIs for web services.

• Proficiency in ASP.NET, a framework for building web pages and web sites with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server scripting.

• Proficiency in CSS, a style sheet language used for describing the look and formatting of a document written in HTML or XML. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
