Robert Half Staff Accountant in Moorestown, New Jersey
Description
Innovation client located outside for the Moorestown, New Jersey area is looking to hire a Staff/AR Accountant who can manage and process incoming payments and invoices while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of accounting transactions. The responsibilities for this Staff/AR Accountant role consist of handling general accounting operations such as: assisting with accounts receivable/collections activities, processing vendor invoices, reviewing general ledger accounts, assisting with account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, assisting with payroll entries, and participating in the development and tracking of budgets. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, highly organized, excellent time-management and strong budgeting/forecasting abilities that will ensure revenue generation.
Everyday Responsibilities
· Support daily accounting functions
· Post customer payments into QuickBooks
· Sales tax filling & payments
· Prepare customer invoices
· Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts
· Accounts Receivable/Collections
· Prepare profit and loss projections
· General ledger account reconciliation
· Post Payroll
· Ad hoc special projects as requested
Requirements
The ideal Staff/AR Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Staff/AR Accountant role include and are not limited to:
· 3+ years of accounting experience
· Manufacturing industry experience a plus
· Advanced MS Excel skills
· QuickBooks preferred
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
