Robert Half CNC Machinist in Mooresville, North Carolina
Description We are in search of a CNC Machinist to join our team in Mooresville, North Carolina. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in machinery, CNC programming, and operating CNC equipment in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities include:
• Operating CNC machines and equipment, including mills and lathes, ensuring their proper function and maintenance
• Utilizing CNC programming to create and modify machine programs, enhancing efficiency and product quality
• Handling CNC equipment, applying knowledge of FANUC control systems
• Regularly inspecting finished products and parts to guarantee adherence to quality standards
• Applying your expertise in machinery to troubleshoot issues and optimize the performance of CNC machines
• Implementing safety protocols and good housekeeping practices within the workspace
• Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Continually improving your skills and knowledge of CNC machinery and programming. Requirements • Proficiency in handling CNC machinery
• Knowledge of CNC Programming and ability to create and read machine blueprints
• Experience with CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
• Familiarity with FANUC control systems
• Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC Machines
• Experience with standard machining practices and shop safety
• Understanding of measurements and material properties
• Ability to adhere to quality control procedures
• Proficient in using CNC Equipment and tools
• Good communication skills for effective team coordination
• Capable of handling workload in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in CNC machining
