Description
Robert Half's client is looking for an Instructional Designer to come on for a fully remote, 3 week project. As an Instructional Designer, you will collaborate with project stakeholders to design and develop high-quality instructional materials for a specific project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design methodologies, experience with e-learning development tools, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Support roll out of eScribe software to team under the direction of clerk
Watch 15 (1 hour) videos, pull out learning + development pieces (including screengrabs), build out step by step guide and create agenda templates within eScribe
Liaise with eScribe to update templates
Ensure clerk is trained to allow them to be SME to train staff
Collaborate with project stakeholders to analyze learning needs and determine project requirements.
Design instructional materials, including but not limited to e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and assessments.
Develop engaging and interactive learning experiences that align with project goals and objectives.
Utilize instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to create effective learning solutions.
Select appropriate instructional strategies and media formats based on content and audience needs.
Incorporate multimedia elements, simulations, and interactive exercises to enhance learner engagement and comprehension.
Communicate project status updates, milestones, and challenges to project leads and team members.
Adhere to project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as an instructional designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency in instructional design methodologies, learning theories, and adult learning principles.
Government experience
Experience with eScribe or another agenda management software
Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and SCORM standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality instructional materials.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing project requirements and deadlines.
