Robert Half Medical Receptionist in Morristown, New Jersey

Description We are on the hunt for a Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team based in Morristown, New Jersey. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, managing high call volume, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and will require the ability to adapt to different workplaces as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage high call volumes, responding promptly and professionally to all incoming calls

• Welcome patients, assisting them with sign in procedures and ensuring a smooth patient flow

• Maintain an orderly and efficient front desk, contributing to a positive environment in a busy office setting

• Organize files and records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible

• Scan and organize documents, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Utilize your Spanish language skills to communicate effectively with a diverse patient base

• Draw on your experience in a medical front office or similar setting to provide top-notch service to our patients

• Answering inbound calls and addressing patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including wearing a mask in the office at all times. Requirements • Possess strong skills in organizing files and maintaining an organized workspace

• Proficiency in the Spanish language to cater to diverse patient needs

• Ability to handle and efficiently answer inbound calls from patients and medical professionals

• Previous experience in a medical front office or similar healthcare setting

• Proficient in scanning documents and maintaining digital records

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, medical staff, and insurance companies

• Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality in adherence with healthcare regulations and patient privacy laws

• Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records systems

• Strong multitasking skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

• Ability to work under pressure and handle patient emergencies with poise and professionalism

• High level of attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and appointment scheduling

• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with medical terminologies and healthcare regulations.
