Description
Our client, an international CPG company, has a great opportunity for a Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to join their growing team near Morristown NJ.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Invoicing-which is approved by the Vice President, Business Operations
• Customs Clearance
• Arrange deliveries that meet customer schedules
• Update execution sheets
• International and domestic import and export
• Participate in weekly operation meeting
• Follow and update Standard Operating Procedures for ordering/delivering shipments
• Process purchase orders ranging from $50k – 500k worth of material
• Serves as backup in the absence of other China Vitamins personnel with similar responsibilities
• Completes additional duties which may be assigned by all supervising administration
• Maintain/Update the Company Product Technical Data binder
• Assists with all business promotion related duties
• Serves as backup for SU International Group, Inc. operations
Keys
product based company/ experience (Pharma or Nutritional industry a huge plus)
international import experience
Large dollar volume orders (for ex orders could value $50k up to $500k)
Requirements
Candidates applying for this position are required to have 3-5 years of experience in international import/export logistics. A bachelor's degree is required and a concentration in supply chain or a related field is highly preferred!!
