Description
One of Robert Half's clients is looking for a permanent bookkeeper. This could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are a self-driven and organized accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. As the Bookkeeper, you will oversee the month-end closing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation. Furthermore, the Bookkeeper is responsible for a full cycle A/P, data entry, cash applications, coding, light journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. This Bookkeeper role will be located in the Mount Dora, Florida area and will be a permanent position. Submit an application for this role now!
Responsibilities
Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Manage general ledger
Update Accounts Payable
Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
Other special projects as requested
Supply cash flow projections, as needed
Administer monthly accounting close
Check monthly accounting close
Handle Accounts Receivable
Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together

Requirements - Strong organization skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Deep understanding of Month-end Close Activities
Quickbooks Online experience desired
Full charge bookkeeping experience preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
3+ years of related experience- Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
