Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This role primarily revolves around providing stellar customer service in a service industry setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering customer inquiries, processing transfers, entering data, and occasionally assisting with team projects. This is a second shift position where you would be working a 3pm-11pm or 4pm-12am shift. You must be open to working occasional weekends and holidays. Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide problem-solving solutions for concerns.

• Communicate outstanding items and issues to management for review.

• Process transfers using the company's platform.

• Perform high-volume data entry tasks, including the entering and scanning of required number of forfeiture/discharges on a daily basis.

• Assist with miscellaneous team projects as directed by management.

• Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

• Refer unresolved customer grievances or special requests to designated departments for further investigation.

• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.

• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.

• Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media.

Skills:

• Proven customer support experience.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.

• Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.

• Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.

Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role within the service industry

• Exceptional ability to resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally

• Track record of providing superior customer service

• Proficient in computer data entry tasks

• Experience in handling high-volume data entry

• Ability to perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately

• Knowledge of bail bonds and related processes

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
