Description Our reputable client is seeking a Purchaser to join the company. The Purchaser will be responsible for researching new vendors, products, and services and negotiating contracts for the best price and value. Are you an experienced purchaser with superb communication, inventory management and analytical skills? Then this may be the role for you.
Maintain inventory and refill stock as necessary
Review price and quality of potential products, vendors, and services in order to get the best deal
Ensure that goods are delivered on time by working with warehouse and delivery teams
Maintain all records of purchased products
Report any issues with delivered products in timely manner
Participate in meetings with staff and other stakeholders
Create reports on purchases and perform cost analyses
Visit exhibitions, shows, and events in order to view new products and network with vendors
Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors Requirements - Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills
Quality negotiation and communication skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated organizational skills
Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
