Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Billing Analyst at our Mt Laurel, New Jersey location. The role involves examining and analyzing billing specifications, managing invoices, and responding to billing queries in a structured and efficient manner. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity that aims at ensuring effective and efficient operations in our accounting department.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and review billing specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Record and manage invoices in the accounting system
• Reconcile payments and invoices to ensure accurate account balances
• Respond to billing inquiries from customers and resolve any issues promptly
• Use Microsoft Excel proficiently to manage and analyze data
• Utilize various accounting software systems to process and record transactions
• Perform auditing tasks as necessary to ensure accurate billing
• Undertake accounts receivable duties to ensure all customer accounts are up to date
• Carry out billing functions including the preparation, distribution, and reporting of bills
• Handle any related tasks about the accounting functions as required.
Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Billing Analyst role or similar position.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.
• Experience with Aderant software is preferred.
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Costpoint software would be advantageous.
• CRM knowledge and experience is required.
• Experience with About Time software is desirable.
• Must be able to perform essential Accounting Functions.
• Knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory.
• Auditing skills are highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in Billing Functions is required.
