Description Robert Half may have a great employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst that is highly qualified in finance and top-notch communication skills. An exciting Professional Services company with a thriving team has a job opening. In this role, you will be conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. Located in the Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, this Financial Analyst role is a permanent employment opportunity. A dynamic team is seeking a key business partner to join their efforts. The right candidate must be proficient in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management.
Your responsibilities
Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources r
Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
Edit and manage forecasting reports
Support Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting
Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks
Possess the know-how and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Deliver effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide valuable foresight and decision support
Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution Requirements
Sales analysis & reporting experience highly desired
Expertise in ROA - ROE - ROI
Well-founded grasp of financial analysis
Foundational knowledge in account analysis
Strong familiarity with cash forecasting
Proven knowledge of financial modeling
Microsoft Excel experience desired
Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience a plus)
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested
