Description

We are searching for a passionate self-starter for a Sales Assistant position. If you are a creative, motivated, hard worker this opportunity may be a great fit for you. A company located in the Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina area is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team on a temporary-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have previous sales and marketing experience with a passion for growing a business. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Arranging meetings, and follow up calls

  • Providing order coordination support to ensure the processes are completed

  • Handling the generation of sales reports and preparations for presentations

  • Completing ancillary Sales Assistant tasks as needed

  • Working on and at trade shows and conventions

  • Providing administrative, technical and clerical support to sales teams and customers

  • Respond to customer requests quickly and professionally, providing superior service

  • Composing correspondence and proofreading materials

  • Facilitating the promotion of company products and services

Requirements

  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Excellent problem solving skills in Microsoft Office applications

    • Skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Well-founded grasp of sales strategy

  • Proficiency in sales analysis & reporting

  • Sales experience required

  • General familiarity with account management

  • Sales Forecast experience

  • Proven knowledge of Sales Proposals

  • Exceptional social skills, previous experience coordinating projects, and able to work well with all internal personnel, outside clients and vendors

  • Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work

  • BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field recommended

  • 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience suggested
