Responsible for ensuring key projects result in EXTRAordinary results while achieving development roadmap commitments. This position will lead multi-disciplinary programs teams while also mentoring, guiding, and supporting development leaders in the achievement of departmental project goals. Will be responsible for projects ranging from new product introductions to full facility launches. While this position will be focused mainly on projects regarding Engineering Development and Operations Excellence, this individual will collaborate on projects throughout the organization

This position is located in Mt. Pleasant, Tx.

Responsibilities:

● Will drive the design, launch, and continuous improvement of Project Management standards. Including best practices, processes, templates, tools, and reporting mechanisms.

● Is hands-on with cross-functional development teams to ensure they successfully utilize standard Management processes.

● Maintains metrics for "on-track performance" throughout all project life phases.

● Key stakeholders involved in setting annual development roadmaps.

● Ensures program roadmap performance through analysis of milestone risk and identification of problem areas. Maintains high-level program on-track / off-track status.

● Updates management, and executive leadership on project status and when appropriate drives discussion around organizational re-prioritization to ensure deliverables.

● Directly Leads Projects from initial requirements setting through post-launch validation.

● Champion for effective Project Management standards throughout the Organization.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree

● Minimum 5 years working in a continuous improvement, engineering development or manufacturing environment.

● Minimum 3 years of experience in Project / Program Management.

● Hands-on leader who has proven success building and implementing processes, not only following previously established practices.

● Exceptional Communicator with experience collaborating across silos and organizations.

● Strong analytical skills and business acumen.

● Experience in the following desired but not required: Large Scale Facility Engineering, Production Line Engineering, Multi-disciplinary Product Development.

● Proficient in Program / Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools.

● Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (highly preferred).

● Familiarity with Agile or Scrum Project Management methodologies (preferred).

Requirements

  • Comfortable managing complex cross-functional and technology projects

  • Skilled in leading Agile delivery teams, projects and programs

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Technical experience including JIRA or similar application and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.)

  • Must have superb stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of the organization

  • Knowledge of leading medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize resource tools to manage capacity, forecast, demand and allocation of people

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent of education and work experience
