This Accounting Manager role's duties will require taking charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Responsibilities
Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant
Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met
Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Requirements - CPA/MBA preferred
Proven technical skills
Month-end Close Activities experience
Microsoft Excel experience highly desired
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Proven knowledge of payroll
Knowledge of general ledger
Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
7+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
Customer service oriented communication skills
