Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Munster, Indiana
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Munster, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a thorough inventory of our IT equipment, inputting data into our systems, and eventually participating in a large-scale deployment and upgrade project. This role is critical in our IT department, and we are looking for someone who is familiar with desktop computers and has experience installing software.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct a thorough inventory of all IT equipment across multiple locations
• Input data accurately and efficiently into our systems
• Participate in a deployment and upgrade project after the completion of the inventory phase
• Install and configure software on desktop computers
• Provide level one helpdesk support to our employees
• Handle and resolve IT-related inquiries and issues
• Monitor and maintain customer accounts and take necessary actions
• Utilize Active Directory, Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, and Configuration Management skills in daily tasks
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all desktop systems in the organization. Requirements • Proficiency in Active Directory is essential
• Demonstrable ability to manage and troubleshoot Apple Devices
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies required
