Description We are presenting an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Murrieta, California. The primary function of this role involves processing AP and weekly check runs, assisting with accruing uninvoiced receipts, and reconciling payable accounts within a team of approximately ten members. This role is based onsite and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process accounts payable and weekly check runs
• Assist with accruing uninvoiced receipts
• Reconcile payable accounts on a regular basis
• Contribute to a team of approximately ten members
• Maintain and apply knowledge of GAAP in daily operations
• Utilize basic functions in Excel to streamline processes
• Uphold a business casual dress code
• Consistently maintain start and end times
• Preferably possess a SOX background
• Work as part of a team in an onsite location in Murrieta. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficient in Account Coding
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services
• Proficiency in Concur is necessary
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Capable of handling all Accounting Functions
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting
• Auditing experience is required
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is a must
