Description
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing and designing business processes and systems. This includes gathering and analyzing requirements, designing solutions, writing specifications, testing and QA, project management, troubleshooting, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business and IT principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
Design solutions to meet business requirements
Write specifications for systems and solutions
Test and QA systems and solutions
Manage projects from start to finish
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Document systems and processes
Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a business systems analyst
Strong understanding of business and IT principles
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Desired Skills:
Experience with a variety of business systems and software applications
Knowledge of data modeling and analysis
Experience with project management tools
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
