Description
The Data Security Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's data security program. This includes developing and enforcing security policies and procedures, conducting security assessments, and investigating security incidents. The Data Security Analyst must have a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Conduct security assessments of the organization's systems and networks.
Investigate security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Implement security controls to protect the organization's data.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.
Train employees on security best practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data security.
Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
Experience with security assessment and incident response.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
