Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Muskegon, Michigan. The selected candidate will be involved in a range of responsibilities including customer credit application processing, customer record maintenance, and handling customer inquiries. This role is critical to our operations and provides an opportunity to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications and ensure accuracy in all transactions
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and provide necessary assistance
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status
• Oversee the Account Reconciliation process to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are addressed
• Assist with the Month-End Close process, ensuring all financial data is accounted for accurately
• Provide backup support for the Accounts Payable (AP) department as needed
• Utilize various software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for daily operations
• Prepare and post Journal Entries to the General Ledger
• Conduct Bank Reconciliations to ensure all financial records are in sync. Requirements • Applicant must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required.
• Candidates should be experienced in conducting Bank Reconciliations.
• Mastery of General Ledger management is essential.
• Experience in Journal Entries preparation is a must.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
• Familiarity with Month End Close processes is required.
• Experience with NetSuite software is a plus.
• Candidates should have a good understanding of Oracle.
• Knowledge of SAP software is beneficial.
