Robert Half IT Project Manager - Scrum Master in Naples, Florida



  • Large technical project work: We need a software development PM/Scrum Master who has dealt with requirements on that level.

  • Fast project pace: finding ways project can be done quicker. While we feel that is a great trait to have, our type of business will require a candidate to be more agile and think of options when pressed to do a project in less time.

  • Agile or SDLC background: someone with more agile or SDLC background vs. waterfall would be ideal.

Some key factors to look for

  • any migration project. Those usually have a variety of long and short time lines and have good variable of technical requirements.

  • Any merger or acquisition projects – these also get people into an aggressive timeline.


  • Manage 3-4 aggressive SLDC transition projects concurrently

  • lead a team of 10-15 technical and subject matter experts made up of client and vendors

  • Coordinate with program leadership, client SME’s, hardware/software vendors, BAU vendor, professional services

  • Develop timelines and project plans

  • Identify ways to accelerate timelines while balancing risk

  • Manage change control process and communication plans

  • Independently drive work and manage team members

  • Track and report team progress against timelines and plans

  • Facilitate project meetings and collaborate with teams and stakeholders

  • Develop and manage stakeholder relationships

  • Maintain and manage risks, action items, issues and dependencies

  • Escalate issues and risks when assistance from outside the team is needed

  • Prepare status reports and communicate project status to client leaders

  • Ensure the team delivers per project goals and objectives

  • Manage project artifacts in Microsoft Teams and/or SharePoint

  • Publish meeting agendas, take meeting minutes

  • Manage project plan in collaboration with the vendor

  • Assist with the creation and consolidation of PowerPoint presentations for leadership



  • 5-10 years of project management experience

  • 4+ years of managing software development projects

  • Experience migrating applications to modern frameworks

  • Strong executive presence and ability to work closely with senior IT leaders to ensure that delivery expectations are developed, managed and met

  • Experience in leading and directing all levels of project team members to achieve project and program objectives

  • Ability to perform work with minimal management oversight

  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership in the business and within IT and tailor communications to all levels within the organization including Executive Management

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • High level of organization and attention to detail

  • Excellent follow up skills

  • Experience on complex projects with multiple vendors, external agencies and legacy stakeholders is preferred

  • Use of MS Project is required

  • Excellent documentation, planning, communication and presentation skills required.

  • Experience in the hospitality or car rental industry is preferred
