Robert Half Patient Care Coordinator in Nashua, New Hampshire
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in the high tech pharmaceutical/biotech industry, located in Nashua, New Hampshire. In this role, you will be crucial in facilitating patient appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting outbound and follow-up calls to potential and existing patients to drive appointment scheduling and clinic revenue generation
• Welcoming all patients upon arrival and understanding current marketing promotions
• Utilizing our internal scheduling database software for data entry and appointment scheduling following company protocols
• Managing office supply inventory to keep our office ready for patients
• Handling an accurate account of petty cash, bank deposits, and credit transactions
• Overseeing hearing aid inventory and ensuring it is well-stocked
• Collaborating directly with patients to collect all necessary insurance documentation and adhering to current HIPAA laws
• Answering inbound calls as part of receptionist duties and providing excellent customer service
• Actively seeking potential referrals from patients
• Ensuring patient records are accurately maintained and updated. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, managing multiple lines and providing timely responses.
• Demonstrated experience in receptionist duties including greeting patients, scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, family members and healthcare team.
• Ability to work in a high-tech environment within the pharm/biotech industry.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear and effective communication with patients and healthcare team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with healthcare management software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
