OfficeTeam is seeking an articulate, highly-skilled Customer Service Representative in the growing Wholesale Distribution industry. Are you someone who loves creating durable and productive customer relationships? Then this may be the role for you. Expect this role to exist within a dynamic and fast-paced working environment. This Customer Service Representative position is based in the Nashville, Illinois region and is a long-term temporary employment opportunity.

What you get to do every day

  • Provide accurate, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

  • May support business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

  • Handle incoming telephone calls

  • Manage the fielding and sending of important written business correspondence


  • Foundational knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

  • No stranger to performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

  • 1+ years of past relevant experience

  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

  • Demonstrated knowledge of customer service

  • Deep understanding of detail oriented Phone Etiquette

  • General familiarity with Written Communication

  • Basic Computer Skills experience highly preferred

  • Background working with Computer Skills

  • Numeric data entry experience

  • Adeptness in order entry

  • Answering Inbound Calls experience

  • Solid understanding of data entry

  • Phone Etiquette experience

  • Practical knowledge of Communication Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office

  • Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

  • Customer service and office administrative skills
