Robert Half Communications Manager II in Nashville, Tennessee


Robert Half Marketing & Creative is searching for a skilled Sr. Project Manager for a client headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is a 6-month contract, 40 hours per week, and is 100% remote for candidates that reside in CST or EST.

Job Duties Include:

  • The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing cross-functional complex projects related to new technology initiatives and implementations. They will be the project owner who will develop with the project team the plan and will ultimately be responsible for meeting the timelines.

  • Experience Leading diverse project implementation. Able to understand and navigate challenges due to managing remote team members across time zones.

  • Ability to work after hours to cover time zone differences and travel up to 25% during various phases of the project.

  • Significant broad experience in leading managing negotiating and implementing large complex projects over multiple business units applications technologies.

  • Capable of leading and directing others as well as communicating and presenting to executives and large cross-functional groups.

  • Capable of leading managing delivering medium-sized business solutions over multiple functional business units encompassing various applications technologies interfaces and oversight of development activities.

  • Experience managing all PMI knowledge areas.

  • Capable of developing project charters details project plans budgets snapping baselines managing critical path tracking variances effectively communicating status to all stakeholders.

  • Experience with leading to a Software Development Life Cycle methodology i.e. Waterfall/Agile.

  • Able to come up to speed on new business processes technologies or capabilities while understanding risks and implications to project deliverables data security.

  • Experience working with vendors legal finance procurement HR IT architects infrastructure security compliance.

  • Capable of resolving issues driving decision escalating risks motivating team members.

  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Project Professional 2010 Server.


  1. Ability to lead large cross-functional global initiatives with diverse scopes from Ideation thru Commercialization and Scale of Solution and strong reporting/communication skills to all levels of Leadership.

  2. Build and execute a Project Plan in alignment with the Leadership Roadmap and Deliverables with standard project documentation holding internal and external team members accountable to tasks and timelines and escalation of issues/risks with mitigation plans

  3. Highly motivated individual with the ability to drive and execute initiatives with the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
