Description Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be accountable for managing our company's financial operations and ensuring legal compliance. This professional will develop and drive the financial policies, system controls, and accounting standards to support our strategic direction.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all financial operations within the company, including budgets, forecasts, investments, and risk management.

Coordinate and prepare detailed monthly and annual financial reports.

Develop and monitor the performance of the internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Determine the company's financial status by creating forecasts and preparing monthly financial statements.

Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies against financial risks.

Collaborate with human resources to define payroll processes, ensuring computations and payments are completed on time.

Provide strategic recommendations to improve financial performance and opportunities.

Maintain suitable insurance coverage, and manage relationships with insurance brokers and carriers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business management, or a similar field.

CPA or related professional certification is highly preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, or a similar role in the finance department.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.

Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.

Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to strategize and solve problems.

Aptitude for decision-making and problem-solving.

Experience with creating financial statements and budgeting. Requirements Managerial accounting, PeopleSoft
