Robert Half Coordinator, Finance in Nashville, Tennessee
Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Finance Coordinator based in Nashville, Tennessee. This position is in the finance industry and is an opportunity to contribute to our team by handling financial data transactions, assisting with monthly closings, reconciliations, and budgets, as well as preparing various reports.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter financial data transactions, including accounts payable and receivables, as well as expense reports.
• Perform monthly closings of various computer systems and financial applications.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of various general ledger accounts, such as cash, receivables, payables, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and input journal entries and accruals through the general ledger.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare various standard and ad hoc reports including Excel pivot tables and analyses for management, as well as reports requested by third parties for audit, income tax, and other purposes.
• Handle tasks related to human resources.
• Assist with various office tasks.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Experience with General Ledger is crucial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important.
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
• Experience with financial software and systems is preferred.
• Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines are necessary.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards is preferred.
• Must demonstrate ethical behavior and business practices.
