We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Nashville, Tennessee. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer interactions, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with technicians to ensure smooth service delivery. This on-site role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Nashville Area

Work Type: Full Time, Contract to Hire

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, with 12-1 pm lunch break (office closed)

Job Summary: We are looking for a professional and reliable customer service representative to join our team, consisting of 5 people. The position provides the opportunity to engage directly with customers and our technical team, handling all customer inquiries and issues with excellent communication and multitask abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and making phone calls (60% inbound, 40% outbound) with the rate of approximately 120 total calls per day

  • Setting up appointments, scheduling, invoicing and confirming completion calls

  • Coordinating with technicians and customers to facilitate efficient service delivery

  • Undertaking collections assignments when necessary

  • Providing answers to customer inquiries and resolving their issues in an effective manner

    • • Demonstrating a firm yet respectful approach when dealing with technicians
  • • Promoting a drama-free workplace by maintaining professional relationships with colleagues

  • • Demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic, focusing on tasks at hand to ensure job completion.

Work Environment:

  • Small office setting with business casual dress code

  • The usage of an online database and email for communication and work purposes

Requirements • Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar role

• Proficiency in using software for managing inbound calls in a call center environment

• Strong ability to manage scheduling and calendar appointments effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm and professional

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Willingness to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education degree is a plus.
