Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Nashville, Tennessee

Description We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team located in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203, United States. The individual will be responsible for overseeing our financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. This role is essential in contributing to the overall efficient operation of the department and helping the company be fully aware of its financial condition.

Responsibilities:

• Handle financial records including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments

• Manage the processing of accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct monthly reconciliations of every bank account

• Ensure all transactions are correctly categorized for financial statement preparation

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports

• Comply with all accounting and financial regulations

• Compile, analyze, and report financial data to management

• Create and implement financial policies and procedures

• Maintain stability and accuracy of our financial records

• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.

• Proficiency in Full Charge Bookkeeping.

• Experience in Public Accounting.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
