Description

Our client is searching for a talented SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join their growing team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, performance, and security of their critical business databases.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases.
Perform daily database administration tasks including backups, restores, and monitoring.
Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
Implement and maintain database security best practices.
Work with developers and other IT professionals to design and implement database solutions.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Document database procedures and configurations.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
Strong understanding of SQL Server database concepts, including T-SQL querying and scripting.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Working knowledge of database security principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with database automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, SQL Agent).
Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database).
Certifications such as MCSA or MCDBA.
