You will succeed in this position if you have the ability to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. You will be preferred for this role if you have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.
How you will make an impact
Take part in various department-wide initiatives
Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management
Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations
Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request
Survey and organize various financial data, reporting it in a useful and understandable manner
Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision
Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease
Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation
Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation
Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries
Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP Requirements - Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Skilled with ERP systems
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Vow to meet business deadlines
Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Month end closings experience desired
