Robert Half Systems Engineer in Nashville, Tennessee
Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join their IT team in Nashville, TN! In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting their organization's migration and ongoing management of their Office 365 and Azure environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, etc.) to meet the needs of our users.
Configure and manage Azure services (virtual machines, storage, networking) to support our cloud infrastructure.
Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline administrative tasks.
Migrate on-premises workloads to Azure and ensure successful adoption.
Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, and access controls in both Office 365 and Azure.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues within the Office 365 and Azure environment.
Partner with other IT team members to ensure successful project execution.
Stay up to date on the latest advancements in Office 365, Azure, and cloud technologies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on Office 365 and Azure.
Proven experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, etc.).
Working knowledge of Azure services (virtual machines, storage, networking).
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and security best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
Microsoft MCSA: Cloud Platform or Microsoft MCSA: Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104)
