Description
We are offering a consulting employment opportunity for a Tax Director. The role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and is focused on the tax industry. The Tax Director will be responsible for a range of duties, including tax provision preparation, software management, and technical tax skills. The role will also involve handling upcoming internal restructuring and potential future transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation and review of income tax provisions
• Management of OIT/OTP (OneSource products) software
• Utilization of technical tax skills in day-to-day operations
• Preparation for an internal restructuring in 2023
• Anticipation and planning for potential future transactions in 2024
• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient work operations
• Compliance with ASC 740 and other tax regulations
• Use of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for organizational efficiency
• Management of corporate tax compliance and corporate income tax
• Undertake auditing and ensure compliance with tax laws.
Requirements • Must have proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with CCH Sales Tax is required
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential
• Must be able to handle all Accounting Functions
• Familiarity with ASC 740 is a must
• Auditing skills are required
• Compliance understanding and experience is necessary
• Knowledge of Entity Formation is important
• Proficiency in OneSource software is required
• Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE is a plus
• Must have experience with Indirect Tax
• Indirect Tax Compliance knowledge is compulsory
• Must be familiar with Corporate Income Tax
• Experience with Corporate Tax Compliance is necessary
• Previous work in a Corporate Tax Department is a plus
• Must be able to handle Consolidated Tax Return
• Experience with Complex Tax is necessary
