Description
Robert Half's Full-Time Engagement Professionals Practice is expanding! Robert Half wants to add Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialists to our stimulating operation! This position works closely and reports to an Accounting Manager at the Client's site and handles all general administrative needs of the AR/Finance Department. The candidate will mainly focus on preparation and sending of invoices, resolving A/R issues, recording and reconciling payments, and contacting clients for payment resolution.

Major responsibilities:
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies
Provide customer service to internal and external business partners
Contacting clients for payment resolution
Preparation and sending of invoices
Assist the AR/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Maintaining billing accounts and records
Help with internal and external audits as required
Recording and reconciling payments
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
This opportunity with Robert Half's Full-Time Engagement Professionals Practice is a full-time, permanent position as a Project Accountant. As an employee of our practice, you will help scope, plan, and execute various Accounting & Finance projects/engagements. Your engagements will range from interim staff roles, such as Reconciliation, Month End, Audit prep/remediation, etc., to implementing process improvement and attacking our clients' business challenges.
As a staff member, you will participate in practice activities, including professional networking events and assisting our business development staff in staying abreast of industry trends and new business opportunities with your assigned clients.
Additional compensation will be available for assistance in developing successful new business for Robert Half's Full-Time Contract team. Our individuals need to be successful in technical accounting/analysis, client relationships, and project management!
Requirements
We are searching for individuals with experience in:
Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
5+ years of experience in an A/R role preferred
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Strong attention to detail
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those with the technical and financial backgrounds
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or similar preferred
