Description
Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Recording financial transactions in the general ledger
Reconciling accounts and bank statements
Generating financial reports
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Assisting with the preparation of tax returns
Utilize accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, to perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently and accurately
Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
Assist with financial analysis and reporting as needed
Requirements • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
• Proficient in account reconciliation and general ledger maintenance
• Proficient in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Possess experience with bank reconciliations and bank account reconciliation
• Proficient in data entry and financial reporting
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Dropbox and Google Docs
• Experience in handling month-end close procedures
• Ability to perform payroll processing and tax preparation
• Knowledge of financial analysis is required
• Must be capable of maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
