Description

Robert Half is looking for a Billing Specialist for an organization in the New Berlin, Wisconsin area. This role involves the processing and sending out of client invoices, conducting regular account reviews, and addressing customer inquiries related to billing issues. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to improve billing procedures and ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Process and send out a high volume of client invoices, ensuring billing accuracy

• Regularly review all accounts to confirm the accuracy of billing procedures

• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to billing issues, providing appropriate solutions and feedback to rectify any discrepancies

• Process credit memos and adjustments as required

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve billing procedures and enhance client experience

• Maintain a comprehensive record of all billing transactions for audit and inspection purposes

• Proactively liaise with internal teams and clients to resolve any discrepancies or concerns

• Utilize skills in Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage and monitor customer credit accounts, taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Proficient use of billing software and other related computer applications is expected.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve billing discrepancies.

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles related to billing and receivables.

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.
