Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in New Brighton, Minnesota. This role functions within the insurance industry and is based in a traditional office setting. The primary function of this position is to provide administrative support, data entry, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter and clean up data fields to ensure complete information entry.
• Review, verify, and issue insurance policies in specific states.
• Conduct audits of producer roles to identify missing producer information on policies.
• Update missing demographic information such as addresses, names, and phone numbers.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as sorting mail when necessary.
• Occasionally provide front desk support and interact with customers.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data tasks including the use of formulas and V-lookups.
• Adapt and shift priorities as needed to support various team requirements.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience in data entry tasks
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform calculations with accuracy
• Exceptional typing skills
• Experience in email correspondence
• Knowledge of organizing files systematically
• Familiarity with scanning documents
• Proficiency in 10 key skills
