Robert Half Treasury Accountant in New Brighton, Minnesota

Description We are seeking a Treasury Accountant to join our team in New Brighton, Minnesota. This role is crucial to our service industry operations, as it involves managing our company's financial transactions, including SOX/Audit and hands-on treasury accounting. The Treasury Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our company's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage corporate treasury operations, including cash management and financial risk management

• Ensure compliance with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and facilitate audits

• Handle financial audit processes, including Audit - Financial and Audit Management

• Prepare and present Audit Prep reports for internal and external stakeholders

• Manage the company's global treasury operations and financial transactions

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations

• Monitor financial market trends to maximize efficiency in financial operations

• Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

• Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency of the treasury department

• Handle other treasury-related duties as assigned. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of a Treasury Accountant or similar positions within the Service industry.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Corporate Treasury, Global Treasury, and Treasury operations.

• Possess knowledge and understanding of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.

• Have experience in Audit, including Audit - Financial, Audit Management, and Audit Prep.

• Exhibit proficiency in Sarbanes Oxley Audit procedures.

• Show ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with various departments.

• Possess a strong analytical ability for managing large amounts of financial data.

• Show proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Show a commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.

• Have the ability to interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
