Vendor Management System Analyst

REMOTE

6 month contract

Rate depending on relevant experience

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our Vendor Management System (VMS). You will be responsible for supporting the system's functionality, analyzing data, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the VMS, including user access, data integrity, and system updates.

  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.

  • Analyze VMS data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into vendor performance, spend, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment with VMS objectives.

  • Provide training and support to users on VMS functionality and best practices.

  • Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between stakeholders and vendors.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate vendor management processes.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience working with Vendor Management Systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).

    Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY or other leading VMS platforms.

  • Knowledge of MSP program management and vendor management best practices.

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
