How you will make an impact
Review monthly accounting close
Extra unique tasks if required
Draw up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Direct Accounts Receivable
Organize cash flow projections, as needed
Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation
Operate monthly accounting close
Group sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Manage general ledger
Requirements - Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
Strong time management and organizational skills
Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Strong attention to detail
- 1+ years of related experience- Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
- Crucial accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Earlier work involving numeric data entry
Quality experience with Paychex Payroll
Computerized Bookkeeping System experience
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Wide ranging experience with data entry
Bookkeeping experience preferred
Bookkeeping Functions experience
Skills in special projects
General familiarity with Monthly Bank Reconciliation
Previous experience working with Typing Data Entry
Solid understanding of Basic Bookkeeping
Good understanding of Perform Data Entry
Practical knowledge of Paychex
Well-founded grasp of bank reconciliations
Microsoft Excel experience highly desired
