Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Business Development Manager in the New Brunswick, New Jersey area. As part of our client's team, you will be tasked with growing the non-legacy product base of our organization on a global scale. You will work closely with Account Executives and National Account Managers for cross-selling opportunities and act as the Subject Matter Expert on other global efforts.
Responsibilities
• Drive the growth of non-legacy product revenues by representing our organization to both existing customers and new prospects worldwide.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and National Account Managers for cross-selling opportunities to our existing clients.
• Identify new contacts at existing accounts for non-legacy products.
• Expand the reach of our non-legacy products through daily prospecting efforts, using pre-defined lists of new business targets, leads generated by our lead generation programs, or your own prospecting efforts.
• Work with the Sales Director to devise a sales and marketing strategy aimed at increasing sales to prospect organizations.
• Identify the needs and pain points of existing and potential customers for new products.
• Update contacts and account information in our CRM system.
• Manage key business relationships, promoting the use of our non-legacy products to Fortune 500 companies, strategic mid-size companies, and small organizations.
• Foster relationships with engineering and R& D management at client and prospect organizations to raise the awareness and profile of our organization.
• Train clients and prospects in the proper use of the products purchased or being considered.
• Handle front line customer service issues, routing advanced service problems and complaints from customers to the appropriate department within our organization in a timely fashion.
• Assist the credit and collections department when needed to collect past due balances and maintain up-to-date customer files.
• Assist in identifying and developing new product and service opportunities with product management.
• Help to coordinate with the Client Services team to encourage onboarding and training, monitor customer usage regularly to identify low usage accounts early, and submit lists of low usage accounts to Account Executives/Managers and Client Services Managers for intervention.
Requirements • Proficiency in Outside Sales techniques with a proven track record of securing new clients
• Extensive experience in Business Development, preferably within the Associations industry
• Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, including overseeing projects from inception to completion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong Time Management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
• Experience with CRM software, including data entry, report generation, and monitoring customer interactions
