Robert Half Medical Malpractice Legal Assistant in New Brunswick, New Jersey
Description
Our client ,a reputable full-service law firm, is seeking full-time Legal Assistants to join their Medical Malpractice team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Acting as a point of contact between attorney(s) and clients/employees
Drafting and editing legal documents and correspondence
Managing attorney(s) calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel
Managing phone calls and emails for the attorney(s)
Transcribing dictation
Proactively anticipating the attorney’s needs and being engaged in their activities
Following up on any outstanding assignments/projects
Requirements
Must have 2-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
Experience in Medical Malpractice highly preferred
Must have knowledge of federal and state court filing requirements
Must be highly motivated, organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with great interpersonal skills
Must be computer savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
