Robert Half International Account Manager in New City, New York
The Account Manager is the center of communication among external clients and Operations, IT, Lettershop and senior management. This firm is a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is the rule. The Account Manager will advocate for his/her clients for resources within the firm, fully understanding the clients’ objectives and translating them so their needs are met. The Account Manager is a sounding board for marketing ideas on the client’s part. Importantly they are assisting with an analytical view of results of various marketing campaigns to help in making decisions for the future. This position is based in Rockland County.
Understand client's business and goals and help determine best solutions
Strategize with client on new programs
Oversee all activities required to fulfill periodicals and other products on time
Act as liaison between client and internal departments
Communicate with third party vendors, as needed
Review/execute all issue work orders
Create/review/proof/test all new Web pages before release to client
Review e-blast work orders and prepare for blast, if applicable
Oversee changes to Lettershop pieces (text, price, scheduling)
Create/review/proof/test all new reports before release to client
Perform de-duping on active files on a regular schedule
Run month-end reports
Manage file uploads, as needed
Execute list rental orders, as requested
Be knowledgeable and ensure that all activities comply with audit bureau standards, if applicable
Document procedures, changes and policies affecting the client
Oversee and document all demographic changes and reclassifications
Share C& W innovations with client
Interact with customer service representatives and keep them informed
Be pro-active in alerting client and C& W management to possible problems
All work is done on premises, occasional off site work

· Bachelor’s degree, BA or BS
· Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in account management
· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
· Must be internet savvy
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are a must
· Self-motivated, strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
· Multi-tasking expert with the ability to prioritize requests while working under pressure
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite a plus
· Math oriented
· Tech savvy user of social media
· Knowledge of publishing and/or subscription services a plus
· Occasional travel required
