Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Purchase & Sales Specialist in New Gloucester, Maine, United States. The role involves managing the financial aspects of retail operations, overseeing point-of-sale systems, managing the ecommerce site, sourcing merchandise, and handling daily inbound and outbound merchandise requests and shipments.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the financials of all retail operations to ensure expected returns are met or exceeded
• Execute revenue-generating initiatives and assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the annual budget
• Manage the point-of-sale system, train staff at all locations, and ensure accountability regarding the POS system and cash management
• Manage the ecommerce site and maintain social media and all digital communication
• Gather data on sales to forecast future replenishment needs
• Prepare daily deposits and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly revenue records
Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Billing Functions
• Experience with Check Processing
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Proficiency in Data Entry.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for managing and analyzing data
• Experience in handling Billing Functions to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient processing of payments
• Familiarity with Check Processing to facilitate smooth financial transactions
• Strong Customer Service skills to address client inquiries and resolve issues effectively
• Data Entry skills are required for maintaining accurate records and databases
-Bachelors required.
