Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of financial reports that serve as summary information for managers. The Data Analyst will be analyzing a variety of data types and reporting on that information. If you are a highly analytical and deadline driven Data Analyst, this position is for you!
Key responsibilities
Identify relevant insights and compile analytical reports
Interpret corporate reports, such as quarterly earnings, to build sound financial reports
Handle management requests to extract, manipulate, and organize data
Supply key decision-making data for market assessments, forecasting and further investigation
Rely on analytical, organizational, and investigative skills in order to take on data mining projects Requirements - BS/BA in Accounting, finance, or economics
Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
- Previous experience with data management and manipulation
Skilled in spreadsheet and reporting applications, including V-lookups, pivot tables, and queries
Experience with various data models
5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, data analysis or similar role
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must, as well as great attention to detail
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
