Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in New Holland, Pennsylvania
Description We are searching for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in NEW HOLLAND, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and cost management across key business areas. Your focus will be on providing reliable data, identifying areas for improvement, and presenting actionable insights to guide strategic decisions about costs, growth opportunities and robust financial management.
Responsibilities:
• Provide financial reports and analysis on the company's performance and profitability
• Aid in the overall budgeting and planning processes, analyzing the necessary financial data for fiscal and budgetary planning
• Compare and analyze monthly results against the previous year and the budget
• Guarantee the integrity and accuracy of data systems
• Review, assess and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy and consistency
• Support with month-end close and analysis of financial results
• Help with requests for detailed financial information
• Be responsible for gathering data, generating reports, and modeling
• Construct financial models and analytical tools
• Maintain and support daily, weekly, and monthly dashboard metrics
• Respond to requests for information and perform ad hoc analysis as needed
• Enforce accountability and ownership for non-technical structure spend control
• Monitor progress and provide reporting and analysis related to the company’s internal audit and control projects
• Assist with the calculation and support for broker commissions
• Deliver analysis and support on capital expenditure requests. Requirements • Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in a role similar to a Sr. Financial Analyst or a relevant position is necessary.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all finance areas, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is required.
• Proficiency in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis is essential.
• Experience in developing and enhancing Financial Models is crucial.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
• Familiarity with financial software systems.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make well-informed decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A certification like CFA or CPA is preferred.
